Fever vs. Liberty highlights: Score as Caitlin Clark, Indiana lose close game to NY

  Caitlin Clark   and the   Indiana Fever   played the defending WNBA champion   New York Liberty   Saturday afternoon in Indianapolis in a nationally televised game that came down to the final moments. The Fever have started the season 2-1, following an 81-76  victory over the Atlanta Dream on Thursday. Clark had 11 points, six assists and four rebounds in the victory. But she went 0-for-5 from the 3-point line, ending her streak of 140 games (counting WNBA and college) with at least one 3-pointer. The Fever ultimately lost Saturday's game to the Liberty, 90-88. Fan falls out of stands onto field during Pirates-Cubs game at Pittsburgh's PNC Park

 
A fan is in critical condition after he fell out of the outfield stands and onto the warning track at Pittsburgh's PNC Park during the April  30 game  between the Pirates and Chicago clubs. 

The incident occurred during the bottom of the seventh inning.
Per a video shared on social media , the fan appeared to be sitting in the front row of seats in right before he tumbled over the top rail and fell to the dirt below. The scary fall was from one of the highest stretches of seats in the outfield — the tallest fence in the outfield is right field at 21 feet, pair of the pirates , in honor of Hall of Famer Roberto Clemente, who wore the number and manned right field.

Pittsburgh public safety said on social media  that "Pittsburgh EMS field medics treated him on scene until he could be transported to the hospital in critical condition

The Pirates released a statement about the incident after the game, which was restarted after a brief delay (the Pirates won 4-3):

"Tonight, during the seventh inning of the game at PNC Park, an adult male fell from the right field bleachers onto the field of play. Pittsburgh EMS, as well as the Pirates and Cubs athletic training teams and other PNC Park personnel reacted and responded immediately and administered care. He was transported to Allegheny General Hospital.

"No further information is available at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family."

Columbus Crew will begin its Leagues Cup title defense hosting LIGA MX side Toluca on July 29, while Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami will begin their pursuit of a second Leagues Cup title against Atlas one day later, tournament organizers announced Tuesday. Reigning MLS champions L.A. Galaxy will headline the third night of action hosting Club Tijuana on July 31. The 2025 Leagues Cup tournament ends with the Aug. 31 final. Inter Miami and Columbus were the first two winners of the summer tournament between MLS and LIGA MX teams.   Leagues Cup organizers announced several changes to the tournament last month, including 58 of 62 possible matches will be played between MLS and LIGA MX teams before the semifinal. Kentucky Derby 2025 highlights: Sovereignty edges Journalism in first leg of Triple Crown

  Sovereignty reigns at the   2025 Kentucky Derby . Sovereignty, with jockey Junior Alvarado aboard, emerged victorious in 2:02.31 during the first leg of horse racing's 2025 Triple Crown over the 19-horse field, which galloped through thick mud at Churchill Downs after daylong showers.  Sovereignty came out of the 18th gate and went off with the fourth-best odds at 7-1 as the race started. Journalism, which came in as the favorite at 3-1, placed second with Baeza (13-1 odds) rounding out the top three.
